Autumn Reaper

Share

This is sort of a re-upload, but not really so much. My original post (I just found out) was in super low-res (under 100 ppi). This is the HQ version with more accurate coloring to the original piece, which I did with oil pastels.

(Thanks for the FP and the comments). I really had a lot of fun with this one, and I hope to do another one soon.

Cool

Whoa.

All I'm thinking right now is that this would be great if was black spell card.

the only thing that I fine wrong is that the sky in the background has a more hellish felling to it if you had orange sunset crawling down to back of hills or something like that. and some dead autumn leaves flowing in the wind would add a bit of chill to it too but those are my thoughts.

unnerving...

desolate and calm yet i feel prepared for death; that's my take on this art piece.
when he comes, i will gladly take his hand and walk with him through the hallways of purgatory.

I totaly agree with POWER-BROKER: Too good for NG

When I click full-screen I knew it was so well-drawn, even though the whole pic wasn't loaded completely.

The drawing was amazing, the backgrounds fits good, the reaper has a really good pose, and is drawn scary enough. This reminds me so much of my favorite uncle who could also draw like this. It's really shameful he died.

Thank you for this, it's going to my favorites!
Keep it up!

nice

constructive criticism though, i don't like the yellow background, it doesn't seem gloomy enough for the grim reaper.
