This was painted as part of the "Creaturing" art collaboration project hosted by RicePirate, which he'll kickstart in the fullness of time.
If I could explain it (poorly) in a few sentences, it's about recreating children's monster drawings into developed creature concepts. The original pic was created by a grade 2 student called Hayden.
