This one took forEVER. I almost cornered myself with inking the hair, so the gesture drawing had to get big enough to accomodate it.

Agree.
I have to agree with Starogre too. A black or even dark purple background would look very nice. Maybe make a version with a new background?

design wise it's good
i like the concept and design of the hair and poses. it's plain to see you mirrored it and changed the palette but it doesn't take away from the overall design. i like the crescent shape behind them and it works with the stars.
however, the background ruins it for me. the plain white background just makes it hard to look at, it feels very empty and incomplete.
At first I was "AHMIGAWD boohoohooooo..." and then I realized I was just on dA for too long. I think you're absolutely right. The colors are already so vibrant that it makes no sense to have a white backdrop - it makes all that bubbly pink'n'blue really harsh on the eye, doesn't it? The incompleteness is aggravated by the uneven vertical distribution of blank space, too.

NOw thats a lot of hair!! Could she walk hahahah. It feels as though it could use a background of some sorts maybe like a "Spacy" sort of thing since they look like aliens or something!! good work trungles i like what im seeing keep it up!
