So this was done in collaboration with the amazing detkef.deviantArt. She's got a huge collection of amazing artwork you should all go and check out if you haven't already.
We basically both started off thumb-nailing various ideas together and eventually picked one, and then we just kept sending the painting back and forth painting on it a bit each time. Used Photoshop for painting this, and took a while as well.

Pretty smooth drawing style, have you both used anything besides Photoshop to create it?
Nope, we both just used Photoshop for both the sketching and painting :)

I have fell in love. Not only with the drawing but with the characters in it also *-*. I praise your talent and, from the bottom of my heart, tell you that this is one of the few drawings here that captivated me so mucho <3.
