Enemy concepts for the bullet hell shooter game in development, Project Chaplaincy. Yes, not only am I in charge of the soundtrack, I'm also in charge of art direction.

The enemis shown here are the first three to have been completed, and the only ones we're sharing for now. They are the Half-Dead, the Bombs and Indomitus, the Westminster boss. Drawings subject to change as and when needed, and one of my duties is to keep Project Chaplaincy heresy-free!

I'll admit, after my ordeals with GIMP, Deviantart Muro and Photoshop, this looks somewhat better. Well, it's been three years ever since I started drawing digitally, and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Project Chaplaincy is a collaborative work by Mark Tanner (Mark212), Christo Tracey (Merlyne) and Annette 'Troisnyx' Singh (TroisNyxEtienne) of Kingdom of Herts.

cool concept and some original ideas! what did you use to create this?

Troisnyx responds:

DeviantArt Muro for the outlines and basic colouring, Photoshop CS5.1 for the lighting and shadows, and PowerPoint2010 for a little bit of softglow. I know I shouldn't be using PPT, and I should attempt to do the softglowing even on Photoshop, but I'm glad it came out the way it did. ^_^
