Fiat Voluntas Tua. Latin for "Thy Will Be Done".
This is one of my most heavily symbolic works to date.
The insignia of the Sacred Heart and the banner "Fiat Voluntas Tua" have been my insignia since late July/early August. I picked the Sacred Heart because... 1) it burns with love for me, 2) it beats steadily to give me strength to move on, 3) it suffers with me. I could easily say that heart has suffered more than me. That heart was pierced through with a lance, and blood and water gushed out of it.
The Papal Keys are another symbol here, and you last saw them in a previous work of mine, 'Singing to the Heavens'.
Fire is often a symbol of passion and desire. It's fairly common usage, to say that someone is 'burning with love'. The tongue of fire above the girl's head is actually meant to symbolise the Holy Spirit. (The Acts of the Apostles tells of how the disciples, when filled with the Holy Spirit, were seen with tongues of fire.)
That girl banging a transparent-drumhead-that-looks-like-a-bubble is meant to be me. I did my best...
