Arrow Head (aka The Grave Walker) is a creature/character design I made for my own little project.
This is a fully digital painting in photoshop using my Intous5. It took me around two long nights to make while being slightly distracted by talking in a google hangout.

Dude, this is unbelievable! I really had no clue what this entire thing would look like. It would have been a great picture if you had just shown the (arrow) head. Instead, it was one of the GREATEST pictures with this skeleton design. I love all the graves. This thing seems to be a whole different entity under the cloak.

There are so many wonderful little details in here, like the crow. You know how to make perfect shadow effects. How did this NOT win an award?! I declare the system to be rigged. The dry fingertip bones are the best part of the skeleton. It's so new and innovative!

I love it, you should look up an artist named Zdzislaw Beksinski, I think you'll like his work

Dayum, I just wonder how you could imagine this...do you just draw as you go? Very good job one of my favourites. Definitely a newgrounds classic in my book!

Very good for such little time. Your work is very detailed and realistic and I like that. Keep making art.

Astonishing work; I agree with the poster that said you should send a portfolio to Wizards of the Coast- this is exactly the caliber art you'd expect to see on a Magic: The Gathering card.

In general, though, this piece is really wicked. I love your realistic style even with a fantasy piece, not to mention the creepy pose that really conveys a strong sense of eeriness.

Oh and, I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but the semi-hidden skull in the fog near the bottom-right cross is a nice touch.

Top notch work, following your stuff undoubtedly.

Hey thanks!
My current goal is to have worked for Wizards before 2016 ;)

There are actually more hidden things however you can't really se them that well in this resolution. On the cross to the left I wrote the title of the song I was listening to when finishing this image (Dead Eyes See No Future by Arch Enemy). On the cross to the right I wrote something as a tribute to my favourite artist (It says "I <3 BeksiƄski") and on the top of the creepy thing's head I wrote a quote from a book I was reading (It's the famous Friedrich Nietzsche quote "God is Dead").

I did something similar with my first professional job, doing an album cover for a band. Super tiny in the far corner there was a hard surface where I painted some scratch marks saying "Hail Satan" or something dumb like that. The band contacted me two years later to say that they found it and loved me for it. Haha.
