Proportion is fantastic, but I do agree w the other commenter about the folds. Apart from that, absolutely fantastic!

I drew this portrait on the 15/07/11. I an old photograph from the internet and used it as reference to draw
this piece. I did not time the session but probably took me about 6-8 hours to complete.
I drew this piece on stretched canvas and therefore made it more challenging, every time I drew down a line it was near impossible to rub it out completely if a mistake was made.
So I practically drew this without much use of the putty eraser, I mainly used the eraser to smudge the background and create highlights on this piece.
I like to draw on canvas as it makes the piece pop into eye candy :-)

Its okay, but lacks any real sense of depth. And if you really used a picture reference, it could have been much better.

I think the folds in her clothes could use some more work.
