Awesome shot I love lightning storms and the whole mother nature theme..

What a wonderful beginning.

It sounds as if your ready to tell a story with a title like that. Not only does it catch my ear, but the picture catches my eye; wanting to see more of this tale.

The lighting and textures are beautiful. There is one thing that I think is missing. I am pretty sure that if thunder were to come in contact with the ocean/sea, there would be an impact or a splash in the process.

The rocks look great!

The rocks look great with all those specular highlights going all over the place thanks to the thunder. The water could use some work though, try making the textures smaller, and even though it's very stormy, don't have the waves go so high, it makes the render look like it's too close. I'd make the clouds a bit more flat on the bottom to look more like storm clouds as well.
