In the world of Asinine Circus, Carlos' powers do not gift him with the ability to fly - I would imagine in this scene would be achieved by taking advantage of his invulnerability which is largely affected by his emotional state.
In short, make him feel great... Then shoot him out of a cannon towards your opponent and don't worry about the landing.
Note: His powers don't come with a pain suppressant. Ouch.
