A drawing of Simon "Ghost" Riley from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

This was my first drawing without outlines so I hope it doesn't look too sloppy
Sorry for the lack of background, I might add one later

Hmm...

Well, this piece looks better than the others of your work that I commented on yesterday. The situation here is bereft of a background, which is significant in symbolism and not necessarily a crass omission.

I think that some of the lines on the piece look smoother and as a result, there is a better looking finish to the piece and the way that there are some hard lines for the gun. It's a shame that they weren't continued for parts of the equipment for the character here.

I like the skull - I personally think it looks quite creepy and as a result, you've gone on to portray a simple little piece of symbolism, regarding the armed forces and their deployment across the world. Perhaps without the identity patch, it could be a nameless soldier, searching for a name and a face to accompany it?

I think you do yourself a disservice by not having a larger full-size picture. Because here it is obvious that you've got a lot of shading detail in the clothing and on the gun, but there's no chance to take a closer look of it as the full size picture isn't much larger than the preview size.

That aside, the picture itself is well done. You have have no outlines, but it still looks very polished and semi-realistic...for a guy with a skull for a face, anyway xD. Really like the detailings on the clothes and weaponry; the several similar colour shades makes it hard at some points to pick out the different sections of the body, but not overtly so. The lower jaw in the face seems to stick out a little too much, but that aside I couldn't really find much fault in it. Save for the fact it's a little too small to do itself credit. Good drawing overall, though.

Good

A pretty good drawing in my opinion. It just takes some time to notice all the details you actually put into this drawing. At first there's mostly the green colour visible which kind of buries the details.

Only if you look at the picture more carefully you can see the wrinkles on the clothing.
Maybe if the picture was a bit bigger it would be more easy to notice all those details.

Ghost

-It's been a while since i've actually gotten on my xbox360 and played some good old call of duty. Ghost was definitely one of the most interesting characters from the campaign storyline in my opinon.

-Just at a glance the head seems to be too big for the body. Not too big of an issue but making the body a tad bigger to compensate would look the best. I think you did an ok job of getting the basic drawing down without any rough sketches though. More details for the acr seem to be in order too.
