Heres a tribute to Ben Spurgin!
I didnt know his work till he died, but I checked em out and he has some awesome flashes, games and even music wich kicks totall ass. My favourite flash of him was the Stick Slayer series, it was ridicoulisly awesome! Its about a dude who kills stick figures, and saves the world from there crudiness :D If you havent seen his work yet, go check out his profile NOW!

this work of art shows how explicit carnage ca be. as i look in the picture, it conotes how detailed you work keep it up... consider a work in computer generated designing, for big kinda type of advertising agencies...

I was looking and the smaller version of it, only when I viewed the full size image could I truly appreciate the carnage that's happening in this picture.

I really like the use of your contrast on the main guys showing hes the only one in the sea of stick figures, and the pencil sybolising he made them and he can get rid of them. Very good drawing, keep it up. -RJ

This makes me want to watch all the Stick Slayer episodes again. There's so much emotional energy in this piece; just look at the facial expressions! And I love that surreal lighting style you tend to use in your artwork.
All the gritty, grimy-looking details really complete this, and the lightning in the background is a nice touch. Great job!

I seen the animation flash of Ben, but when I read the news that he died that part gave me an awkward feeling, because I was gonna email that dude if he wanted to be one of the playable characters in my game, but it seemed I was too late which made me feel sad.

This is really quite something, especially knowing that the characters are stick figures. I've always enjoyed your style, and the dynamic foreground to background depth. I think the stick figures being so dark, along with the red background, really brings the slayer to focus in the viewer's eye, especially with the green headband leading you right into his awesomely ferocious facial expression. A really great work, and for an even better reason, I applaud you for this Mr. Shadman!
