First the drawing and inks are fantastic - the shadows and the way you handled the lighting are truly stunning.
Secondly, it's hilarious !
I love the way the amphibian man looks really awkward and embarrassed to be there after the fella slips and stabs his missus in the eye. Sometimes even monsters don't know where to look.
I feel slightly guilty for laughing at it...

Its based on a real life alien encounter, its all part of the Newgrounds Halloween art contest.
One question about any influences. Is that just a generic fishman monster or is that a resident of Innsmouth?

I have never heard of Innsmouth before, but I have just googled it, and they do look alike. Thanks for the review man.

wat i like in this was the rumpled effect of the paper, it has the real effect of a decade old comic book but with more ambiance with the color as if it is still brand new...

Thanks for the ten mate, well the tatoo I drew on a seperate layer, and made it slightly transparent. And the old paper texture is taken from some "real" old paper and then I have fused them togetherwich was kind of a pain! :D

What a great job you did on this one.
The first panel lured me in with the notion this was gonna be really gritty and violent fishman slaughter.
But it turned out to be hilarious and comical.

"The good news" is written on his knife, because thats how he calls it in his story. But sadly its too small. Thanks for the ten dude!

lol, he hurt the wrong person....
hot babe *complete with comical dribble*, love how it pans out like that with the comic style and the faded edges... im still not sure if this was done on paper... then enchanced on a computer?... anyhow... love all the details you put in your pictures like the background, athough i felt that the window was rather flat and 2d... the shading is spot on and the overall piece is unterly amazing... top marks... i never saw that coming :P... :3

Thanks alot LegolaSS, its nice of you to give me a ten. It was drawn on the computer, and I have fused it in photoshop with some paper and stuff to make it look "paperish" ;)

Not only is it funny. It's really well done. I love your art work because you put so much detail into it. IMO, this is the best submission to the whole contest. What I was really surprised by was that you even drew the spit from the wife. Now that's a hella lot of detail! Great job!
