We Hold Dear

My Aunts Sister died last week, and while i had only met her occasionally, it got me thinking about life and death again..... its an odd thing for me really... i mean we are all trying to figure out life and we all want to to hold onto everything we love.... but there's always a part of us that knows it will end, but even death...and loss seems necessary to understand and appreciate what we have......

anyway im rambling..... here's a picture

a very unique piece

a sinister yet inviting piece of art.the lines are good and the shading good.the picture isnt balanced to its best.keep in mind that u dont want the main part of it to blend with the background.good job tho.

yeah i was debating about most of the pallet for a while, i wanted to have it all black and white with a bit of color but i suppose i should have darkened either the figure or the backround a bit more
