The sentries stationed around the fungal forest. This poor soul was betrayed by her companion (her own husband) while traveling. Just goes to show the people you can trust. Now her soulless body sits there, watching for intruders to the domain of the forest.

Well it is a fantastic drawing, and i am probably biased here because i like monsters, fungi, and tits... uhum, anyway, if i have to be fair it is a good drawing and not really a fantastic one haha.

First there's this obvious thing that jumps at the eyes, and is that you could just rotate the image to have it standing, specially since it is quite big, and actually longer that wider, so following most viewing formats it would be more pleasing for the viewer to see it as they scroll down, instead of its current presentation.

As for the drawing itself, it is a great mushroom woman, it has a lot of the characteristics of a forest spirit, the eye in the thorax, the holes, and the fungal caps really add to her theme along with her skin texture. And the background is nice enough, specially since most works of this kind don't even come with a background so to see one here is just great.

However i do have a complain, the lower half of the character has an abrupt and ambiguous ending, since it is not clear if she is merged into the earth like fungi does, or if she is levitating like a spirit does, or in the worst of case... if is that you just simply decided to not draw her lower half.
Other than that once you zoom in, you can notice some trails of pencil, so you could clean/erase those, it will make the drawing look way better and more pleasing once you examine it with detail.

Well that's all, i actually like the black & white format, but i could see how other people will want to elaborate more in that aspect, however for that the only thing you could do is wait, or you can always go to the art forums, they can give you some incredible feedback.
