Residents of households that have traditional piping and ventilation should be attentive to unfamiliar noises coming from them. In the case that visible strain can be spotted on the piping and that the noise should persist for more than a day, contact the emergency services, if the emergency services are busy at the time, exit the household and await for the emergency services to contact you back. Residents are required by the law to report cases such as this, as well as to make sure that the household filtration systems are in good condition at all times as well as to report anything unusual. Negligence will result in having the households water supply and municipal services to be put on hold. Apartments have been designated spokespersons who are responsible for reporting the concerns of the residents as well as ensuring the safety of the tenants. Tenants should not tamper with the piping themselves.

All windows and doors must remain closed at all times.

Drinking bottled water over tap water is encouraged. Always when using tap water, make sure to check its pH levels with one of the indicator slips that have been provided alongside these instructions. For usage instructions, see appendix 1

If you notice discoloration in the water you mustn't drink it under any circumstance. If the water has a purple discoloration on it, do not throw the water away, boil it or drink it. Leave the water inside the container and await for further instructions from the emergency services. It is very important that you remain inside your household while help is dispatched.

If you notice purple coloration in your iris, call the emergency services immediately. Do not go outside, remain inside your household and await for the emergency services to arrive.

In the case that you hear the air raid siren:
1. Turn off any and all ventilation inside the household.
2. Put on the article MK42-12 gas mask that has been provided to you alongside this brochure.
3. proceed to the innermost room inside the household or a room with the least windows.
4. Await for further instructions.

In the case that your apartment building/household is put in quarantine:
1. Remain inside your apartment/household and follow the instructions given to you by the emergency services.
2. Do not use any smartphones or other distance communication devices as they can obstruct the delicate equipment that the emergency services use.
3. If you feel your condition deteriorate, contact the emergency services personnel and they will transfer you to a hospital.

appendix 1. Usage of the pH slip

1. Open the bag and take one of the white paper slips from inside of it.
2. Stir the water inside the container and place the paper slip into the water container and let it soak for 5-10 seconds.
3. If the paper slip is green the water is drinkable, if the paper slip is yellow, orange or red, contact the emergency services immediately. If you live in an apartment, contact the spokesperson of the apartment building immediately.
4. Do this daily to check the condition of the tap water.
