For Jazza's Challenge Of The Month for January 2015.

I've never entered any competition like this before, though I've watched all of Jazza's challenge videos I never really dared enter one myself. That is until I saw the theme for this month: Superhero Selfie.

When I first saw the theme, this is pretty much the first thing that popped into my head. I just really like the idea that Superman is too busy taking a selfie to notice that Earth is in peril. The overall style of the piece is a bit of a mish-mash. The face and hand is how I would normally shade and draw, while with the body I tried doing more comic book style shading, which I've never done before. The background is done in photoshop, which has a different look to it aswell. I hope that the piece still works overall though, as I'm actually pretty proud of the result.

Superman was drawn in Flash and the background, like mentioned, in Photoshop.
I drew the whole thing on the touchpad-thingy on my laptop, as I don't have a drawing pad or anything like that.
