Just finished the background piece I showed last week on my blog. The whole thing took a week total or less, but I didnâEUTMt get much time to work on it. I decided to add some creatures to add some life into it.

sketchup + cgtexture + intuos 4 and about a week of painting.

Absolutely amazing

Great detail and I really like the mystique style!
You say it's a background? Just as a picture to have, or does it really serve as the background in some game you're working on?
Would love to see more of this amazing artwork of yours.

background=scenery. It's for nothing in particular :)

Fantastic.

My favorite part is your shadows. I can never seem to get mine right. I ended up forgoing them for now and just doing cartoony pieces. The color composition is spot on too.

gnomon has a great video tutorial called ''practical light and color theory'', it can be hard to digest, but it's very informative. I recommend.

Dude... this is waaaay to awesome!!

I love it man!! My only complain is the background creatures... they are too blurred out, I would like to see them more clearly.

But the details on this are incredibly well done.

Could you check out my art? I would be honored to have a review by you.

small world! I can't believe you'd have seen me on there to, I pretty much took for granted I was a bit drowned in the awesomeness of the place. ^^

Seeing this

Makes me hate myself :( Why cant I do this?!

Anyway, it looks really amazing, not a million miles away from a photo! I love the colours.
