Just finished the background piece I showed last week on my blog. The whole thing took a week total or less, but I didnâEUTMt get much time to work on it. I decided to add some creatures to add some life into it.

sketchup + cgtexture + intuos 4 and about a week of painting.

Oh damn...

This is just totally ridiculous.

I mean, it's like a story in one image.

What. The. Devil.

I could bang on about how amazingly... RIDICULOUSLY WELL.... drawn it is but it's quite clear that this is some. next. level. shit.

I'd rather talk about how it makes you feel and what it makes you think of.

It's so intricate it draws you in and makes you a part of that world. It's like you've read the blurb of a book and try to structure a story around it. It's excellent.

Just amazing.

Very well made

I absolutely love how the creatures weren't in the foreground of the photo. It made me really appreciate the scenery before I noticed them. As for the creatures themselves, they have this amazing not-quite-alien feel about them. Not necessarily like something from another planet, but maybe too old for us to know what they really are.

While the fact that the ones in the background were clearly copied detracts from the overall experience, it's still a beautiful picture and I feel like it deserves this ten. Good job.

Beautiful

This is gonna sound silly...but i think what i enjoyed the most was the fountain and the plants around it :)
The "9" is cause of the impression that you "copied and pasted" the creatures...they seem to be all in the same position. Please don't be offended :S

I really couldn't be offended, it's not an impression, I did paint one and copy-paste it and then painting a bit on top of it to give the impression of distance. xD
