It has a Rifle stock
You all right, not much to do with a rifle but that's sure as hell not a stock a shotgun would have. Well one could easily be added but how many shotguns to you see like that? Just the rifle i noticed in it i may be wrong but not much else looks like a rifle.

This seems to be a shotgun and looks cool, but what does it have to do with RIFLES?

2 things...
1. Shotguns already are mid-longe range. It's only videogames that make them close range and dilute their spread.
2. It's reminiscent of the Warhammer 40K combat shotgun.
