I've always thought the relationship between Luna and Celestia must be an interesting one.
A REALLY trying one.
One the one hand you have the nearly perfect in every way Princess that every one loves and praises for everything possible.
And on the other you have the dark.. Almost gothic one no one really understands.
All Celestia wants is to be able to love every body and have everyone be happy all the time, but that damn reality keeps biting her in the ass.
Luna (I would think) would always be in the shadows of the perfection, and naturally resentment would form.
But still they both love each other and Luna wants to love her sister as much as she wants to lover her.
Luna feels both the shame of the evil she's done AND still the resentment of what her seemingly perfect sister...
Yet still she wants to feel that innocent love her sister feels for her.
Ah family why must those relationships be so complicated?
The arm that is being outstretched looks VERY much shorter than her other arm.
Really interesting concept on their relationship and very good art as always. I still like Luna just a tad more. How about you?
