Quote by Otto Dix; "All art is exorcism. I paint dreams and visions too; the dreams and visions of my time. Painting is the effort to produce order; order in yourself. There is much chaos in me, much chaos in our time."

This quote has always stuck with me. Otto Dix was an artist in the holocaust, a very horrible time...

I'm not exactly "pretty," so I get a lot of crap at school. Art is always my escape. It keeps my sanity... most of it at least..
If I'm sad... or mad.. I can always go to my sketch pad and just draw, and know that I'm good at something. I may not get much praise for anything I do, but at least it makes me happy :)
Used: Copic sketch, micron fineliners, and white paint marker... and prisma verithin colored pencils... and love : D

interesting... I feel the same way when I draw. When I make myself a good sketch I feel proud of myself and it doesn't effect me at all if anyone thinks otherwise.
