The cover of an awesome comic book
I spent a couple minutes looking at this, very cool.
I like the symmetry and the colors are so engaging. Personally, I don't really like the universe in the middle- only because I think it takes away from the simplicity of the rest of the picture. But it's an awesome idea that you executed with style.

It's funny
I was just thinking of the scale of the universe today. The more scientists look at microcosm, the more it looks like macrocosm. Maybe they're both the same? Wouldn't surprise me.
It really is quite the mind-boggling thought, and was certainly on my mind while making this.

Folds... EVERYWHERE!!!
If you focus on a line or pattern that isn't part of the face it's starts to seem 3-dimensional. Very nice! @w@

Interesting
I don't really like the designs or colours you picked for the outside but overall it's a nice picture. Good job.
I agree, the background was certainly the most hastily done aspect, and it shows. Thanks.
