I didn't even know kkots was an art enthusiast. I usually see him in the flash forum, so don't feel too bad tech, lol. Now the texture, I can sorta see where he's coming from, but I just think that's the beauty of your style. I don't think you could've made a texture that would fit with your style anyway.

Now, the lighting isn't off, but you did seem to make more than one lighting source. Then again, that could just be studio lights. Totally plausible explanation. :P

Still, this is so cute! And i definitely agree with that quote. It's the same reason I got into both drawing and programming.

The shadow on the right part of the tail makes it look like it's a cutout placed behind the body, and like the body is dropping a shadow on it.
The shading on the tail is a bit wrong, as if it's lighted from beneath it. It's lighted from above and from the left. Anyway, there shouldn't be a shadow on top of it and near the body. Those shadows just make no sense.

I really wish you made them more detailed somehow. They're looking textureless. For example, I see you started giving them a bit of fur. Give them more furry details.

The belly is lacking a shadow on the lower part of it between the legs. All cats have a gap there. You're never showing it.
I fully acknowledge that you live only to enjoy yourself, you're drawing these pictures because you like them, and you don't want to hear feedback or to improve your skills, but that makes me upset because it means you're an egoist who doesn't give a shit about other people's opinion.
