I like how this image crosses boundaries (such as gender and off-putting accessories for a child-looking figure like those skulls on his ponytail) because it makes anyone looking at it stop and think despite it being such a simple design, that normally someone will only glance once at. The green hair keeps the attention focused on the figure, while also being the only thing keeping the figure from melting into the birdcage. So composition-wise, this is good. The lighting and shading is just enough for such a simple design as well. Nice work.
