Ghoerlen are bird-men demons that stalk people in woodland areas, chase them down and whip them to death with a crucifix, then they write 'God bless' on your forehead in bird shit.
Legend goes, Ghoerlen are birds who have been killed by people, consumed by hate for the human race, their souls gnarl and twist there way back into reality, wanting revenge on Humans!
