Halloween drawings in October? Nonsense.

This picture was a gift for doublemaximus! http://doublemaximus.newgrounds.com/
There is a bit of a story behind this one...

Doublemaximus is going through some tough times right now while trying to find a new place to live. She has started a GoFundMe page to tell people about her unfortunate situation and let people make their own decision if they want to help or not.

I am one of the people that wants to help.

However I am TERRIBLE when it comes to online forms and money transferring, so I decided to do it the old fashioned way and send money through the mail.

Sounds easy enough eh? Sadly she has an uncle who is known to try and take money from her, so that complicates things a little bit.

Thankfully though I enjoy a challenge. I took it upon myself to build a box that would conceal the money I wanted to send her, complete with a secret flap inside.

To avoid suspicion, I posed as a pen-pal sending some pencils in return for art advice. At first glance it would seem like a box with pencils, BUT LO AND BEHOLD it contained the magical colourful bills my Country is known for.

To play up the pen-pal angle, I whipped up this postcard, employing the Canadian stereotype that we all live alongside Polar Bears and it snows all year round. :P

The package was received and will hopefully help doublemaximus and her fiancée get out of a slowly decomposing home.

Thanks for reading the long and elaborate backstory to a goofy postcard, you must like reading. :P
