Old Honda civic [in-game]

Share

A car for a game in creation for a school project. The car is actually the ennemy in the game, were you drive old american car (ford model A). Your mission is to beat those racers on the street, with "real" power! : ) (lol, I know, it's a bit silly)

The track isn't mine, and it's a bit ugly too so forget about it. No shadow too, coming soon (using projector in Unity3D, cheap shadow but better than nothing!)

About 4,050 triangles, so this is pretty decent for the kind of detail there is, only 512x512 texture too! ^_^ The image was took from the game itself, built in Unity3D.

I'm a dumb kid so i cdont even know at all

What type of Honda is this? Civic? NS-X R? Well whatever that car is, you gotta tel me!

PLEEZ.

DarkSword responds:

That's a fourth generation honda civic (1987–1991) with a few ricer mods like fake exaust, spoiler and body kit. I think I took a random photo on the net and modelled it.. : )

Hmm

I like the idea of the game (maybe its casue im a die-hard Ford fan, but) The car looks very good, very detailed, all ofthe lines where they are supposed to be, except for the one hood line, is it the newer, rounded out style, or the older, squared off style? It confuses me because the back seems a bit more rounded out like the newer one

DarkSword responds:

It's the older one, that was produced until 1991.. but since it's a bit modded, it's not that clear anymore.. : ) it's not 100% accurate either, good references are pretty rare, unless you go out and make your own photographs

Cheers!
