And it isn't the coloring, I have drawn a handful of guys with eyeshadow, lashes, (not present) soft colored/lipstick painted lips, and they still look like a man. It is how the contrast of the lines flow. All the little flaws that lean one way or another can add up an create what people would id as what gender. But there are also ways to draw something that looks more one, but can be accepted as the other.
