Did it in Corel Painter X (just wanted to try painter again, I haven't used it in so long!)

Very nice....
I think you did a very good job. I didn't have so much of a problem with the background as I did with the foreground character profile. Her face and hair were at an odd with the rest of it. It's like you had two different art styles going on, and they didn't go well together. Other than that, you did well to try this experiment.
