Great master study. Gotta love Bouguereau. This is a near perfect grisaille of the original painting. The texture of the stokes were capture especially well in the lights. Only thing I can think of is that the ear could probably be laid in a bit more solidly and that the background could be a bit more even as in the original on the left side. Although I like what you did more, as I love to see the strokes more visible. Anyways terrific job.
