It has a very H.P. Lovecraft like appearance, not that its like Cthulu, just that it has a sea creature base yet also a "fog wandering" appearance. If you do decide to do more like this, might I suggest twisted figures or shapes in the background? Like, other creatures obscured by the fog?

That's pretty badass. I love the face and the upper arms; they look very alien/demonic, and the smoke/steam makes it look like it's in a hot, desolate kind of place...possibly volcanic. I wouldn't want to meet this thing in a dark alley. D:
