By some strange temporal flux, Xi'Vaal ended up encountering himself from the past. Being one unable to resist a challenge, he immediately began a duel to the death. Even in his younger, less developed state, the newly possessed Val'kiine Immortal matched his older and more refined counterpart in terms of sheer strength; morphing his body to the horrifying true visage of the Val'kiine.
Old Xi'Vaal however is far too eager to toy with his former, far more monstrous self and readies a blast from his pulse rifle, enough to shatter the young Val'kiine exoskeleton...
But he knows full well it won't be enough for a kill. It'll certainly piss it off though.
