painting me drawing

Share

yeah...um so I was brutally forced to paint for the first time in my life

I've always been trying to avoid the mess of painting... but the fine arts teacher was a meanie and said
I quote: "try painting or fail, choice is yours"

so I painted myself in the middle of making a pencil drawing, damn canvas costing me money :P

...yes thats my hand in there and a actual paper with a half finished drawing on it

-Why am I obsessed with gray scale? ... will adopt colors eventually ;)

Pretty damn good

I know how you feel...except it's painting that I love CMYK colorscale and try to avoid greyscale where possible, but to each his own I guess. The hand looks a little messed, but then again, I always have trouble with hands as well. AWESOME painting BTW.

excellent

this piece is very attractive. The angles in the composition caught my eye. I've always been afraid of the mess of painting, too, haha I think most of us are.
I REALLY encourage you to try color more!! Though this piece works WAY better in grayscale.

Woot!

If I could paint like this... maybe my FA professor would shut the fuck up! : ) This is wonderful!!!!! : )

SunnyRays responds:

whoa...got some built up frustration in there?

lol, some profs are pretty bad though :D

Love it

I love the picture of some1 drawing a picture concept. It looks very cute : )

50/10

Crazy Awesome

It's a really good and unique picture. I'm not to great at painting so I could never do this. How long did this take?

SunnyRays responds:

about 3 hours I think....half the time is mixing the paint :P
