Wow, interesting composition, crazy good colors, and fine attention to detail. I found myself looking at it for longer than I usually do when I'm browsing art. That deserves an award right there.
Just wish the eyes on the left model were proportioned correctly.

tried my hand at more impressionist style of coloring, but since i preserved the lineart it lost much of the implied detail so i shaded normally as well. felt like it needed a french title to go with it but google translate takes all the credit.

i didn't notice until i had flipped her to do the right side shading, i wondered if people would notice. i took a gamble and i lost :X
It's a great piece, certainly worth observing for more than a few seconds. I just have this nagging compulsion to do a Mad magazine page fold thing, to bring the 2 characters close together, or cut the piece in half, and glue the left side onto the right side... but maybe it's that center-out composition that gives it charm.
