This is amazing! So wonderfully Lovecraftian!
you know it'd get eaten
hands kinda suck, i should have actually tried reference. testing whether harsh shadows are quicker for me to produce than soft ones. probably not but it does feel more liberating and i think i'm more satisfied with the results. also continuing with my fascination/inability to shade wet things.

weirdness Dangerzone15. awesome weirdness
O_O i have no idea wtf I'm looking at
what crowleycrow meant with "sait" is "Tool Paint Sai", a drawing programm much like photoshop, wich is usually used to draw anime-drawings with by most of its users.
as for this artwork itself...im not really sure what to think about it ^^ but i think the tentacles are pretty well drawn and colored. the shading itself as a whole is pretty cool if you ask me ^^
OHHHH. well if CC or anyone else interested is still looking over comments- i'm not familiar with the tool scheme of SAI (obviously) but the brush i used for these drawings is simple but a little hard to explain.. the only difference it has from the regular paintbrush in flash is that i have it set to become more transparent with less pen pressure (ie have it fade off when i lift the pen, or only show at 1/2 opacity if i dont press down all the way) thats crucial for me, being able to change the opacity of my brush strokes via pressure alone. dunno if SAI allows that or not, especially if its for manga-type inking.
...you sure ITS the thing that'd get eaten??? I think I'd fear for my safety. xD
