A speed painting.

My process: I place a grid on my reference photo and place it on my right monitor. I use the same size grid in the painting program on my left monitor then I begin to paint. For this particular image I used an online painting program with very rudimentary tools at my disposal. I used to go to this site when I couldn't sleep and would just paint from a reference for fun and practice.

good work

yeah its good woork but the bird dosent seem to fly. you have to make the wings move than its really great.

Thank you! In the photo I referenced, the bird's wings are not showing movement, that's what made his photo so great. To be able to capture a hummingbird's wings NOT in movement is really good but I agree with you that in general you would show a blur for movement. Thank you so much for sharing your point of view, I really appreciate it. :)
