Great 3-D

Love the sword would love some added shine and sparkle glaring off the blade or more of it anyways, A great 3-D creation here must have tooked you awhile to create this one its some amazing work the 3-D style is pretty good I like the detail you have presented in this one and its a creative idea here very nice idea and I love how the view-Point comes off very well.

I like the modeling. It must have taken some time but to me it looks like your every day ninja-to or katana. Extend it a little more and you've got a Dai-Katana(sword not the game).Good picture though man.

Nice 3d modelling.
About the blade, maybe you should have used a texture map instead. Blades have this distinct pattern especially on the sharp edge.
It would also be nicer at higher resolutions.
But you did mention that this was one of the first pieces you did on 3ds max, so im guessing its something you did i while back.
Can i ask what rendering plug-in you use?
