The Spirit and the Shoeshine boy

Well, this is an illustration-the cover- for my 4-page-comic (http://squiel.com/en/portfolio). I did it mostly with watercolors. After that, I scanned it and played a bit with the colors with photoshop, but, as I said, almost everything is made with watercolors.

Amazing

So this was an amazing visual love the different visuals on this one that train is pretty intense but overall an amzing art piece here

An ominous onlooker in the background sky, shing down upon his real-life counterpart, the one in charge of the industry; exploitation surrounding? The innocent main character sitting beside the spotlight rather than in it, cast away into the world that was not his doing. That's how it makes me feel at least, wonder if that's the truth you choose to convey, or something different entirely? Another nice piece; interesting to analyze and look at.

I forgot to include the link to the comic this cover belongs to (http://squiel.com/en/portfolio). The characters come from very different backgrounds and so, they are separated. You are right, the main character is at the margin, as in life. Thank you!
