I give you Zeus; father of the Gods and ruler of men with the power and control over the skies and thunder. Brother to Poseidon and Hades.

Ahhhhh a good 8 odd hours went into this bastard :D.... very fun to paint and quite happy with the result :) Ive wanted to paint the three brothers for a long time! Ever since I played God of War I think haha. Oh and when I say three brothers I mean Zeus, Poseidon and Hades :D The other two are on my profile.

I wanted his expression to be quite vacant - as if he hasnt got a care in the world being a GOD but also quite intense as he watches over his precious temple on top of Mount Olympus

Painted on a wacom cintiq 12wx in photoshop :)

Hope you guys like :D

very nicely done.

although you know Hades as the eldest brother was meant to rule Olympus by birthright he was cheated out in a game of draw straws.

My favorite out of the "Three Brothers" work

The overall feeling is peaceful, but has a sense of danger with the lightning. Also like the colors with the yellows, blues, and greens. Everything seems to balance out nicely in this one :)
