This took me a good while (approx 16hrs)!!! I originally started it out as some kind of squid looking thing but over time I started adding more green and brown tones and it turned into some kind of swamp critter.
Quite happy with this one :) all the detailing was done by hand :( .... fun, but took a long time haha! eg.. no texture overlays on this bad boy :P

It reminds me of the Flood
This pic seriously reminds me of the flood guys from Halo. That was the first thing that came to my mind
