I had a lot of fun painting this picture. It was not an ACTUAL reference from a game in terms of composition but different elements from mario have been thrown in.
This is for an upcoming commercial campaign which revolves around gaming (i cant say too much!!). I thought it would be awesome to have a mario level, but with a dark feel to it, but keeping the vibrance and strong colours mario games have :D

Very nice!
It looks like it's going to come through the screen and eat me! XD
The coloring is amazing; I could never in a million years accomplish that gleam, and those actually life-like tones. This is very well executed, frightening, and a nice homage to my first videogame addiction. XD Lovin' it!

Awesome!
I love it. Everything is so well done. It has a very scary atmosphere to it. I wish someone would make the game with these types of graphics!
