Ahhhhhh I liked this one :) It was very fun to paint. I wanted to have 2 creatures battling.... One more n the good side than the other but as equally badass as eachother :P So I chose a beastly werewolf leaping onto a fiery Unicorn. Originally the werewolf was more exaggerated but it made it look cartoony and took the element of 'who would win' out of it. So I kept it pretty even between the two beasts.

Id like to think I have gave the unicorn some bad ass vibes to it considering they are usually associated with little girls and the colour pink (not that there is anything wrong with the colour pink lol).

But yes - the battle pose is done... Who will win :O... the ferocious werewolf or the fired up unicorn... bare in mind fur is extremely flammable ;) haha

This took about 6 hours from start to finish and was painted in photoshop on a cintiq. The references I looked at was a photo of myself to get the hands right... and a picture of a horses anatomy to see how to paint it :D

Makes me think of ifrit and ixion in ffX if those two were allowed to fight it out. Very cool work though! Ixion was electrical lighting instead of fire tough. Would deffinetly give him the upper hand over a firey ifrit. BTW being a girl I always liked my unicorns powerful and I HATE the color pink!
