Something I made for the Silent Hill contest on Facebook. It was really great practice for lighting. :)
*Edit* Well, the finals came in. Sadly, I didn't get in, but thanks for the front page, Newgrounds. All of you are awesome.

Great
Good texture with a solid design also the contrast between light and shadows are well balanced which highlights the design details but primarily on the effect of wear on statues.

NICE
A very H.R. Giger kind of character. I love it!

Pow..the monster pops from behind
it's a cool drawing but can't quite explain it..but why does it have an M rating? there is nothing sexual going on(though it be disturbing for those who think it's sexual). for me it symbolizes the fall of ones purity to corruptness
I just put the M rating in just in case, though I agree. Thank you!

simply beautiful
i love how it all falls together. the light on the woman to symbolize its purity the darkness on the monster to show its corruptness and it seems the rain itself is a symbol of the tragic romance between the two. this is definetly going to be favorited. but i cant help but wonder what silent hill is it from?
Thank you. It's not actually from a Silent Hill game. The point of the contest was to come up for a statue with an original theme/monster/stuff.
