I read of this peculiar demon in the Ars Goetia after I played the Belial game. This very much resembles the woodcut depiction. I wonder what symbolism is behind it exactly.

A drawing I did of Buer, based on the original illustration by Louis Le Breton in the 1863 edition of Dictionnaire Infernal. I think this one turned out pretty good. It is only my first time trying to do this style, regardless. The face is a little off, and there are probably a lot of little mistakes here and there, but overall this has been a really good learning experience. I hope to do more stuff like this in the future, and if anyone sees this and knows some resources where I might be able to learn how to do the style properly (hopefully on paper, instead of full-on woodcutting), it would be much appreciated if you could share.
The original I have in my sketchbook has a little blot of ink over the nose so I've fixed that up digitally in this version. I didn't want to use any tipex/whiteout because I feared it may have just made things worse.
