Average Score: 9.8 / 10
I think its very nice, i like that old style for some reason :3 Would be cool if this was a real movie :P It's different from your other art, but its still awesome :)
Keep it up!
This is a great poster--I am a particular fan of retro-style SF pulps and ads. The font in the parenthetical clause, however, seems a bit out of place. Thanks for this.
GREAT! I love it!
Totally in that style, you got it totally!
awesome parody...the woman..the saucers..and the in space...so tipycal of old 60 sci-fi movies
great style, you studied the color palette, art styles and texture of retro b movie poster very well. My only criticism is that the woman should be flipped around so shes not screaming off the page and leading your eyes out as well.
i love classic horror posters and you have captured (and parodied that perfectly)
amazing!
Dude sweet work, I really like the lady she reminds me of the mom from Pleasentville.
"who shits flying saucers" ? that was good :))
Love it, great stuff!
freakin awsome ! good work!
Lol that part got me xD 10/10 5/5
o no the giant robot noooo
I LOVE IT
Its obvious you knew what you wanted to make: Trust me, you NAILED it.
Its perfect
-The title
-The woman in the corner yelling akwardly
-The jets
-And finally the ridiculous composition of the robot that anatomically makes no sense.
This is too great.
i have been reading the other reviews they don't understand this is a retro horror poster the women is suppose to have a fake fear. it is old and this would be just like back in like...1960, maybe i don't know, but any way this is a good poster well drawn out.
Moar epicness is desired... moar moar moar
i don't know why but this reminds me so much of fallout 3. I like the reflection on the robot, it's cool.
I disagree with fluffcomix
Her expression is fake, yes... but its appropriate and I feel thats what you were going for. its very appropriate for the period. All around excellent. I love this!
the woman's expression looks pretty damn faked though. show some emotion in those brows and you should be fine. her right arm also looks a little detatched from the rest of her body
but other than that, this is great! love the shading, and the amount of shading and variety you're able to show using very few colors.
That's exactly what a poster from that era would look like (minus the swear), with just the right colors, style, and feel. Great job! Really fun to look at.
Holy crap i want one!!! MAKE POSTERS QUICK!!!!!!!! Awesome BTW. And most definitely original! :D :)
these are really nice, I wish we could order prints on this site D:
something I would want to put up on my wall! love the kind of vintage-movie-poster look! duuuuude...so awesome! I want a robot that eats fighter jets and shits UFO's.
I laughed so hard at the small text, awesome job too, i like the 50s style.
Lol XD This is awesome! I love the woman's expression and the composition.
Is that a landing site I see on earth? :O
I would hang this in my basement
