im always thinking about a post-apocalyptic world, whether it be zombies, aliens or nuclear war. this has been just over the top with me.

now i'm a fan of all war pictures so naturally for me this is a 10...BUT sir i think with this you could have made it less sketchy and yes i know you did this on purpose but i go to an art school and they say we should not just do the minimum and if we werent sure that we should scan it and se what we could do if we wanted, now don't take me wrong im not saying its bad, nor am i saying its not enough, i'm just saying that looking at your talent you could have done more. and i have looked at your other pictures so i know this is you style but common don't tell me this is all you can do especially with a picture that has this much potential do do something with. still like the picture though

I did have further plans for this picture, The Initial was to have the gasmask character Holding off a zombie horde, Or something similar. And the canvas to be a long landscape.
I have a fairly small attention span when It comes to art, And I never spend long on one piece, before I quickly move on, Its just the way I work. This particular character, for some reason, Took a long time to form up, and make look right. By the time he was finished, I was tired, And slightly bored with him, And never could never muster the effort to "finish" the piece. However, I will never "draw the line" under a piece, there's always possibilities to go back.
As for the sketchiness, Its my natural style, its not forced, or predetermined before I started . I can draw cleaner, I do plenty of times, I just don't have any examples posted here on newground.
I too go to art school, And the work posted here on newground is just small snippet of what I do, Im also use oil paints, clay, acrylics, plaster etc, Like any average art student.
As for the bare minimum? I really don't think this drawing is bare minimum.
