An older drawing, I like to think Im a bit better now.
Inspired by a western I saw where the bandits wore "spook" masks made out of linen sacks.
In not happy with the axe, or the doubled barreled shotgun.
After looking over this piece again for newgrounds, I feel I should return to this character, redraw him and tighten it all up again, any suggestions?
Andrew.

The best art I've seen so far. It gives you that nice, classic art feel. Good work. Don't feel bad about the axe and gun, it gives the art more character.
Tightening up the Axe and Shotgun details makes sense, but if you keep the awkward rigidity of his stance I think it makes him look very menacing
amazing dude
this is really good but i agree he looks uncomfterble with his weapons
If you say this is old, then you really have improved. Just change his pose and it would look better.
you wish you never been chopped up so bad!!
I quite like it, its simple and gritty ( in a good way ) same with the colours of it, it works quite well especially with a western feel, there is room for improvement but the pic you have now is still pretty cool...what western was it with that character, that seems like a bad ass western ( WESTERNS ARE AWESOME!!!! )
Author's Response:
I think it was called "Open range", With Robert Duval and Kevin Costner. Similar masks also appear in the jesse james brad pitt western, when his gang rob a train.
Yes my friend, very good drawing.
As Kupia said try to add some event or action... I recommend you to add new angles and another character, try to make this same "dude" (from the drawing) in other situations instead of carrying weapons or in a moment of killing.
Maybe you don't like this example, but try to draw with this same quality a woman in a rain, this dude jumping from a train in movement... BUT, It's just a recommendation, of course you do what you want.
Congratulations.
:-)
try to change his position, the angle or maybe add some movement.
