Mhm K.
I do a lot of background art and stuff like that on photoshop, but I'm particularly proud of this one because this is mostly NOT photoshop.
I used a pencil to sketch a random shape that tickled my fancy and became the glacier. Then I filled in the edges with a colored pencil (by the brand of coloron or something like that but I hardly ever see them anymore and advise if you see any you must BUY them because they rock) and sketched out the sun a little (although it looks more like an eclipse because of photoshop but I digress).
Anyway, after some careful shadowing by hand and a few photoshop effects on the computer this was created.
I was aiming for a winter blizzard, something you would see should you out from a glacial cave. You know, the world covered in a vast blowing sheet of stinging snow, the sun only a smoky orb that cannot fight through the choking dimness that surrounds you?
Meh, you would have to be IN a blizzard to understand.
Irregardless I hope you guys see the effect I was going for and like it.
