Elisha

Share

So, for the drawing of a man contest thing I chose the prophet Elisha. Elisha is a character from the famous book "the Bible". I think you all heard of it; it's got a pretty dedicated fanbase.

I really like Elisha because he is like the most powerful man from the Bible. He is so powerful he can actually cast fire from the sky.
I also admire his style of doing miracles. It's quite different from the usual prophets. One time, when some random kid dies, he revives it by laying down on it. That's something completely different from any other resurrection. Any other prophet would just touch it, but Elisha takes it one step further.

I've drawn him, just after the moment Elijah gets taken to heaven and he is left alone. It says in the Bible he was so sad he tore his clothes. That sounds pretty serious. Eventhough people do that a lot in the Bible, I still think it must be quite depressing when your best friend gets abducted by angels. So I have drawn him as sad as a teenage Facebook status...

I also know that my art level is really low compared to all other people entering this competition, so I know that there's no way I would ever win. But it's all part of my evil plan, because by participating I can trick people into clicking my stuff. MUHAHAHA!!!!

Also: I know that you should be able to recognize the person you have drawn. And I didn't do that. So, please forgive me Jazza...

EDIT: reworked the entire thing... Because reasons...
